Imagine my delight to find Bret taking a little siesta on the bed in the greenroom.

I sewed!

I actually sewed! and I even finished a project that I started a looonnnnnngggggg time ago. I'm thinking I cut this out in 1991 or thereabouts. The girl I cut it out for is probably in high school or even college. I found it in a box and decided it had been long enough. Bret was kind enough to model for me...

I would like to make one for Bret (with a manly-er print!). We'll have to see if it happens in this lifetime!

after a little sledding accident a few weeks ago, Bret was reluctant to try again. Kristian was over today and between the two of us, we managed to convince him that it would be okay to try again.

My plan worked! and in the end Bret didn't want to come back inside.

More Christmas

One more picture of the tree so you can see how big it was and how good it looked (from this side-it had some serious issues on the backside).Gram and Papa J came to town Christmas nite. Papa's looking at his picture book from Bret, but Bret's more interested in his, yes you guessed it, his Cars Truck. Does this look like a boy who needs more toys?Apparently yes, because Papa came home from a day of shopping with a new tractor and trailer and a pony-Lucky.
And Lucky me, he sings when you squeeze his ear!

Halle

This is one of the better pictures I have taken of Halle. I laid out the flannels I got for Christmas from my MIL on the bed to admire them, and she took the opportunity to lounge on them.
